About Us

ThinkSmart was established in 2004 by Paul van Woudenberg (CISSP, CSSLP) and Theo van Niekerk (CSSLP), two seasoned IT professionals who share a passion for secure, user‐centric web applications.

Our name is inspirational; it’s a directive that we work by.

We have a permanent staff of four, but supplement our skills where required with analysts and developers drawn from a select network of independent contractors with whom we have built up a solid working relationship. These people are typically highly skilled and highly motivated and most comfortable with the independence of a project‐based engagement rather than full‐time employment. By selecting the right mix of staff and contractors, we are able to staff teams that are ideally suited to the project at hand. As a result, we can deliver high‐quality work on time at a competitive price that adds lasting value to our client’s businesses.
